my teaching philosophy
I believe that each student should be given the tools and the room for deep personal growth, as every individual has particular talents, skills, and interests to be nurtured, developed, and shared with others. Within the safe environment I will always work to create for my students, my hope is that they feel confident in themselves, while also inspiring confidence in others, as they continue exploring knowledge for its own sake. In particular, I hope to foster a life-long love of reading and writing as I explore the complexity and beauty of the English language with my students. Ultimately, my hope is to inspire each student to end every day with a deeper appreciation of their own potential, as well as that of others, as we continue feeding our appetite for knowledge and growing as unique individuals.
